The International Neural Network Society (INNS) is the premiere organization for individuals interested in a theoretical and computational understanding of the brain and applying that knowledge to develop new and more effective forms of machine intelligence.

INNS was formed in 1987 by the leading scientists in the neural network field. The Society has grown rapidly to encompass a worldwide membership of more than 2,000.

INNS organizes international conferences every 2 years:
IJCNN - International Joint Conference on Neural Networks, (см. страницу)
and promotes scientific activities at the national levels, in cooperation with national organizations.

INNS publishes Neural Networks in cooperation with ENNS, JNNS societies - The Official Journal of the International Neural Network Society (INNS), European Neural Network Society (ENNS) and Japanese Neural Network Society (JNNS).
Neural Networks provides a forum for developing and nurturing an international community of scholars and practitioners who are interested in all aspects of neural networks and related approaches to computational intelligence.

INNS publishes a Newsletter - Tri-Society Newsletters (ENNS, INNS, JNNS) in cooperation with INNS, JNNS societies.
Tri-Society Neural Networks Newsletters are published by the joint cooperative management of the three neural-networks societies: INNS, ENNS, and JNNS.
It appears as a supplement to the Journal of Neural Networks published by Elsevier.

INNS publishes the INNS magazine Natural Intelligence.
This magazine aims to bridge different communities from neuroscientists to information engineers, and also from university students to world leading researchers.
INNS defines "Natural Intelligence" to include both intelligence existing in nature and intelligence based on the state of things in nature. Therefore, the INNS magazine covers experiments, computational models, and applications of the intelligent functions in our brains.
