Asia Pacific Neural Network Assembly (APNNA) is for promoting more active interactions of researchers, scientists, and industry professionals who are working in the Neural Network and related fields in the Asia Pacific region. APNNA was formed in 1993 by the leading scientists in the neural network field.

APNNA organizes the annual international conference:
ICONIP - the International Conference of Neural Information Processing.
The first ICONIP'94 conference was held in Seoul, Korea. Subsequent conferences were held in China, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Turkey, India, Taipei, Thailand, etc.
Over the years, these conferences have gathered thousands of researchers, scientists, and professionals who are working in the neural network and related fields.
The ICONIP conferences publish proceedings annually. Some are jointly published by Springer Verlag or other publishers.

APNNA publishes the online journal Neural Information Processing--Letters and Reviews (NIP-LR)
The Neural Information Processing--Letters and Reviews (NIP-LR) is closely associated with the ICONIP conferences.
